Misty Odhner
Executive Director
Misty Odhner is the executive director for Solstice Senior Living at Austin. Originally from Prescott, Ariz., she moved to Austin in 2006 and has worked in the senior living industry for 27 years. She joined the Solstice team in March 2019.
Misty began her career as a CNA for hospice when she was just 18 years old. She went on to receive a master’s degree in social work from the University of New Mexico and a master’s degree in gerontology from Arizona State University.
She is a proud mom of two: Misty’s son, Hillel, lives in Austin and also works in the senior living industry, and her daughter, Joanie, is a junior at Washington State University in Seattle. In her spare time, Misty loves to travel, swim and cook.
She is ecstatic to be a part of the Solstice family here in Austin and believes that, if you love what you do, you never have to work another day again.

Jodie Sanford
Director of Sales and Marketing
Jodie Sanford comes to Solstice Senior Living with over 20 years of sales and customer service experience. She worked with top industry leaders where training and development were an asset for each employee. Some of the companies that she received her sales and business acumen from are USAA, JPMorgan Chase & Co., DME Supply USA, and New Horizons Computer Learning Centers.
Jodie is a mother of two beautiful girls who own her heart, ages 26 and 16, and in her spare time, she loves being on the water, wakeboarding with family and friends, or traveling to a fun destination to learn more about the world.
Jaime Schwartz
Business Office Director
Jaime Schwartz is the Business Office director at Solstice Senior Living at Austin. Passionate about helping seniors, Jaime joined the team three years ago and fell in love with the job instantly. Previously, Jaime worked as a medical assistant and an administrative assistant. Jaime was born and raised in Austin and in her spare time enjoys cooking, crafting and spending time with her 10-year-old son.
Charles Haxton
Culinary Services Director
Charles Haxton brings over 40 years of experience in culinary arts and hospitality to Solstice Senior Living at Austin.
A native Floridian, Charles grew up on the East Coast in Palm Beach County. He started his culinary career as an apprentice at the famous Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and was trained in classical European cuisines. Throughout most of the ’80s, Charles served as chef de cuisine for a French restaurant in the Catskill Mountains in New York state before becoming the chef of his own restaurant in Saratoga, New York.
Charles met his wife in the Catskills and recently celebrated 36 years of marriage. He enjoys spending time with his three children and dog, watching football, and fishing.
Charles looks forward to serving residents with excellent meals and being part of the Solstice family.
Jeffrey Dittrich
Building Services Director
Jeffrey Dittrich is making his mark as the new building services director at Solstice at Austin. He comes with a history of project management and oversaw the many contractors and builders involved in the recent remodeling effort of the community. He is a certified contractor and has been self-employed through his own business for the past five years. He also has extensive experience in commercial construction as well. He is known for building amazing decks, pergolas and screened porches, as well as total home remodels.
Jeffrey has an adorable 10-month-old daughter and a beautiful fiancée whom he loves dearly. This is Jeffrey’s first experience in a community setting like Solstice, and he is committed to providing a safe, clean and well-maintained home environment for our residents.
